For the week of January 16th. Only the fourth Christian album to ever hold the top spot. Thought that was really cool to see a praise and worship album at the top. Even cooler is that he is the worship leader at my church. If you like Chris or Christian music or even if you don't I suggest you pick up his album "Burning Lights". It has collaborations with Lecrae and Kari Jobe as well as Christy Nockels. It's been on repeat in my car for few weeks.

Everything he puts out is great. Leeland is another band to check out, if you've never listened to them.

Very happy for Chris! Christian music gets overlooked far too often these days. Great to hear about this!

I just heard a song of his yesterday.

I'm starting to like this music more and more lately.

All Time?
Amazing Grace (My Chains are Gone)
Jesus Messiah
Whom Shall I Fear
How Great is Our God
Majesty (w/ Kari Jobe) off new album

That's tough to name his 5 best but those are my favorites...I think. Awake off of the new album is quickly becoming my new favorite though.

Agreed. Leeland puts out some good stuff. A few other bands worth checking out:

1. The Digital Age (comprised of some of the remaining members of the David Crowder Band*)
2. Bellarive
3. Future of Forestry
4. Gungor
5. Robbie Seay Band
6. Elevation Worship

Strange. Just last week, Bwack (the drummer for The Digital Age/Crowder*) started following me on Twitter.

Anyway, The Digital Age is probably my favorite band on that list. Their EP is on Spotify.

I really enjoy Building 429 and Casting Crowns. I have a lot of both of their stuff.
