seems like a full group of people from here would make an objective game hilarious
it promises skill based melee combat... is that true... or is it everyone just slashing away with no regards to anything else aside from how many times they can click mouse1?

so far I would think that's true, i tried the hack and slash approach and it got me killed twice already in training. you really need to block and attack

A got a nice little hunk of change from selling my prodigy build and my 7970ghz edition. Waiting on the last tiniest damn part to come in before I can start building.
Hopefully it'll be done by sunday

This game is fun as shite. It took me a while to not have a 1:5 KD ratio every game, but I'm up to 1:1 now 
Are there a lot of people on TD that play Chivalry?

This weekend should add 3 or 4 more
Unless the multiplayer servers are hammered due to massive overload from the free weekend. Lets hope that doesn't happen
Probably can get some td "clan" action going
Everyone who has played and posted on here, has been complimentary of it. And we rip games to shreds around here
Between this and cod double XP....life is good

I got some vidz on youtubez of some simple gameplay footage.
Its a mix of minecraft, tf2, and cod with BF3 size maps. I could play it for hours

That's exactly what I gathered so far.
Sounds pretty cool, but..how does the map building and fps aspects work together?
Goal is to build shite while fighting other people fps style? I can get down with that
Or are there preset maps? Or a playlist of popular user based maps?
For instance, build map in a "build" mode, then go fps ?

There are preset maps, but they are massive.
Each class his its own set of building blocks. You can build mini forts mid match or you can build blockades and such.
Search bluebarracuda4 and I have full game clips of almost every gametype on different maps.
I personally enjoy sniping on the marksman class. Nothing better than sniping some jetpacking scrub in the face and watch him fly into the air and explode
