Will this dude even get drafted if it is more likely than not (in the eyes of the public) come draft day that he was in on it/used it for gain?

Serious fricking headcase and the definition of a locker room distraction. He's not like some unreal player (haha) either. If I'm a GM/Scout/Coach of an NFL franchise I'm not so sure that I want this trainwreck barreling through my locker room.

He stayed on the phone with her for eight hours at a time. I mean come on what do you want from the guy. At least he had ATT. Thank goodness for that.

Someone needs to be invited to the Oscars for this performance.

Timeout. Dalton Hilliard was in on this?

DALTON HILLIARD, A HIGH SCHOOL TEAMMATE WHO PLAYED AT UCLA
SI: Tell me about Lennay.
HILLIARD: She was a very supportive, loving passionate individual. She was all about God and prayer and being able to have faith. Me and her never met in person. But I felt like this was a testament to who she was. She would still text and tweet me before my games. Good luck brother. Good job out there today.
The fact that she would do that for someone she never met. The fact that [Manti] and I such great friends and brothers. Who she was and is as a person. Pleasure for me to know her. She made my best friend such a happy man, it's something that made me a happy man as well.

I can see how Thamel could believe all this to be true.

But reading it while knowing its fake makes it seem like he is trying really hard to keep the story straight. Seems like he knew it was fake at that time. Anybody else get that feeling?
