My freshman year I was at Northwestern in Natchitoches. Late night fried chicken at the Waddle Inn (I think that's what it was called).

Transferred to USL and spent most of the food budge on Boone's Farm. Tuna, straight from the can. Kraft mac n cheese with tuna and a can of cream of mushroom soup. Later, a big treat was Western Sizzler. The #3 Beef tips with peppers & onions and a giant baked potato.

In Lafayette, mel's diner after the keg.
In Baton Rouge, chimes at 11am every Monday for pint after pint of Guinness.
In new orleans, still figuring it out.
When it comes to college, I get around.

Things I remember:

1. Zatarain's Jambalaya w/ butterball sausage....enough food for you and your buddy for $2 ea

2. Pluckers / Louie's @ 2:30 in the morning, always great hangover food

3. JITB Ultimate Cheeseburgers....Revielle used to have coupons for BOGO.....(2) huge burgers for $3.26 = 2 meals

4. Totino's Pizza.....$1 each is hard to beat, especially when you doctor them up.

5. 2ft long Shrimp Poboy.....I remember some chinese place on Nicholson used sell a 2ft long shrimp poboy for like $12, not the greatest quality but what the hell

6. Rocco's near campus......my buddies and I would sneak out of Music Appreciation class and head down the street to Rocco's when it was next to CTX.

7. Mr. Gatti's......not the greatest but cheap and sometimes Free

8. Cane's.....used to go to basketball games and get BOGO boxes, especially when Tyrus Thomas blocked like 5 shots a game.
