Mini Lasagna Cupcakes (w/ Pics)

Decided to try some mini lasagna cupcakes tonight. Here's the final product.

Never even thought about a lasagna cupcake! I bet that would be great for a party and pretty easy to put together.

I think the 6 cupcake ready size would be the best.
Also, think there could be a better pasta to use. I was thinking using lasagna noodles, let them soak in warm water for 15 mins or so, then use a couple different size cookie cutters and make layers.
I think they could be awesome, but im not sure I see the reason to do all that when you could just make an awesome lasagna.

I think layers need to be involved with these. Right now, at least without seeing a cut open version, its like a pasta pocket with lasagna filling.

With the mini size, you really don't have the space to do too many layers. You may not be able to see it, but these have 2 layers.

They look good don't get me wrong.
I think a version with bigger cups could give more took for things to layer out.
