Are you serious? Would it make you mad if the youngest one brought her fiddle and her Papaw brought his guitar?

My cousin flies helicopters. I'm sure for some free hunting we could make something happen

I've talked to him about it before. Maybe one of these days. I'm not sure if you need licenses to do it, or not. Looks like a blast though. I have this thread bookmarked. I'll talk to him and my brother tomorrow

My granddaughters are 18 months apart in age. 12 and 10. Funny thing is I've tried to get em interested in shooting and deer hunting to no avail until this year. Oldest granddaughters best friend killed a doe and a six point this season and now my oldest gd wants to go deer hunting. Season is over up here for now, but you can bet I'm gonna take her next year! Got all summer now to get her ready. Gonna hafta go out and get her a .243 now. Don't hate on me for that cause she's just a little petite thing for a 12 year old! The little one would rather play her fiddle, but she can't stand for her sister to do something that she can't do or hasn't done.

Sounds like you have your hands full. Maybe we can work something out for this summer if they/you are interested.

That show on the outdoor channel "Hog Man". He brings Ted Nugent to some ranch in Texas. They killed somewhere around 200 hogs in 4 hours. Picked everyone of em up. Not sure what the hell they did with all that meat

That would be absolutely FANTASTIC! Not too many things would make Papaw more proud than posting their pictures here on the OB with both of em kneeling down beside a couple of 200 lb. hogs!

You should see the rig the USFWS uses on Bayou Savage and the like....pretty sure its a $5k+ gun with all the NV, thermal, and a silencer on it

Sounds like a cool gun, but they haven't got em all yet. They still come through the boat parking lot of my condo, which borders the refuge. We own a little bit of brush/marsh back there and may help thin em out soon.

BP, got three kids and we travel to Houston twice a month. When do you do the GT hunts?

If its Uncle Ted he probably had most of it processed and donated to the food bank.

Well if your not into trapping... An AR-15 fitted with night vision, a good suppressor, subsonic ammo, and a well placed shot to the ear will do the trick. You could prolly get 4 before they realize what's going on. but in all seriousness when I get back to the states I'd love to kill a few and I got plenty of military friends that would gladly help with your problem.
