probably but II still think LSU beats them at home, and I suspect saban finds a way to stop johnny football, so 2 losses in the SEC so as long as we beat 1 of 3 games out of UF UGA and bama we finish ahead of aTm.

LSU will always be 1 or 2 in the west there could be a year where MSU or aTm has a great year and we have an off year, but they won't be consistently better then us. We will be.
Will this occasional off year be next year? State will definitely remain marginal. But I've accepted the fact that Texas A&M is about to undergo their exciting program transformation like we did in 2000. I don't see how anyone can feel otherwise. Their potential as a program is sky high. They are the only SEC program in the state of Texas, with the Horns stuggling. We used to be the destination for Texas kids that wanted to play in the SEC, now they've taken that over. They have the money. They have the facilities. They have the game day atmosphere. They have a head coach who runs an exciting, innovative offense and produced a freshman Heisman trophy winner in year one. Would RSJ have even considered A&M five years ago? He witnessed LSU beat the Ags in College Station, AND got to witness TS at its absolute finest from the sidelines in the Bama game, and STILL decided to sign with them. We still have Louisiana and I don't think they'll make major inroads, but it's silly to say that A&M is not about to be on par with LSU, considering they're about to have their pick of Texas recruits, as much or more than we do in Louisiana. Best case scenario for LSU, this becomes similar to the Auburn rivalry in the 2000s where homefield advantage is the deciding factor almost every year.

Ouch No doubt we'll win another SEC championship...when that is is anyone's guess, but to say we're top 2 in the west for the foreseeable future is retarded

in my recent memory aTm has only been good a couple of years many times a team will have one good year then fall off. aTm still could loose some games next year, bama is still bama and they will be pissed for probably thier only one blunder all this season. LSU is tough to beat at home and the chief found a way to stop Johnny Football.

aTm won't consistantly be better then us, LSU will be better then them most years, again aTm hasn't been great recently they had one great year this year when they joined the SEC. You are to quick to deem aTm a power house when they haven't had a recent history of being a power house.

They've been as dysfunctional a program as any for the last 10-12 years. But now that they're about to own Texas recruiting and have a Heisman QB, it's hard to pinpoint a specific reason why they won't at least be on LSU's level. Let's hope that their OLs declare early...it will be a good game in TS next year and yes, they'll definitely have to earn it. But long term they're going to be right there with LSU each year.
