Are there any off road trails/areas in South LA to go driving?

Jeep, not ATV. Last i heard only ATVs were allowed in the spillway.

Catahoula Recreation has a lot of great trails but is a couple hours from BR.
There has been talk for a couple years about a group that was attempting to build a park around Central, but I don't think it ever went anywhere LINK
Other than that, you would probably be tresspassing

These guys have planned rides that are not too far from BR area on properties that the club is allowed to use. They used to have monthly meetings but I haven't been to one in years so I'm not sure how organized they still are.
I used to be into it pretty heavily but have lost interest in the past few years. I'm actually about to sell my jeep since I really don't have the spare time anymore to mess with it

That is real nice, Clark. Reeeel nice.

Seriously, very cool. He's looking for more of a daily driver, I think.

I drive this one daily right now. It's 100% stock in drivetrain and axles. It's not a cadillac by any means but its not bad. It really needs to be regeared to 4.56 (4.10's now) with the 35's but other than that it drives fine.
It books for $18K in good condition and I'm thinking in the $16K range would be fair as it has some dings here and there, as any jeep should

Before I bought my new one in 2010, I looked for used ones.

Clean, sharp Jeeps, like yours, are very, very hard to find.

People were asking 10K for high mileage, wore out stuff and getting it.

I doubt you'll have any problems selling it.

Thanks and I know. There are quite a few people that I used to ride with that, like myself, went out and bought nice jeeps and then sunk another $10K-$20K into them and then, unlike me, didn't take care of them. When all is said and done they don't get a quarter of the money they had in them because they are so beat up and ragged out. I just don't understand people that can't/won't take care of thier shite.
I have about $30K total in this Jeep (bought it for $20K) and while it will hurt to lose the money I have in extras, I know it could be worse. Really good thing about Jeeps is they retain their value extremely well
