Any chance Hill can get 25 carries a game next year?

I'm tired of us running 4 guys out there. They aren't equal. The 4th guy is not as good as the 1st. I used to believe it and think our depth was that good. It isn't anymore. Hill is head and shoulders above every other back on our team.
Any chance that we give him the rock 250+ times next year?

I wish, but he'll get pulled once he gets hot.

exactly...
25 carries thru 3 quarters then pulled

I heard he's already transferred to ALA. Saban can prob get him eligible for the BCS game this year.

i wish we would but we wont. hill crushes teams and we go long periods with him on the bench for no reason

If he doesn't fall off the sophomore cliff that has strangely affected so many LSU backs over the years.

I'd like to see a Hill/Blue 1-2 punch.

Yeah, I'm sick of the 4 RB scheme Miles runs - especially when 1 RB is obviously better than the rest.
Name Hill the starter and give him 20-25 carries /game. Put in Ford and Ware as change of pace.
There was no excuse to leave Hill on the bench during the 4th quarter.

Hill should definitely see more carries than what he had this year, but Blue was a beast before he got hurt. If I had my wish it would be to stick to rotating carries between those two and only use the other runningbacks to spell them with minimal carries.
Give hill 17 -20 carries and Blue 10-15 carries. That would be ideal for me.

Wow have things changed. Coming into this season we had 5 NFL RBs and now Hill is great and the rest are bums.

Exactly. Miles isn't against a primary back, but I do think he played the older guys this season instead of Hill since he was a new commodity. I think Hill will establish himself as the feature back next year, but who knows with Blue coming back plus a (hopefully) rededicated Hilliard.
I do hope Blue returns and contributes

we've never had 5 NFL RBs. We've been duped into thinking that playing every player at the RB position is better than playing the best 2 as much as possible. It is the only position on the team where it seems our coaches feel they need to play everybody like it is little league t-ball. You have a depth chart for a reason. Play the best player the most you can.
Hopefully Hill can avoid the SO slump and maybe get 250+ carries and 1000-1200 yards rushing. He's ridiculous.

how about using 2 of these guys in the backfield at the same time, with no fb??? Blue/Hill would be a great combo, Hilliard and Ware are fb types... run some motion, sweeps and misdirection with a flex te... open up the offense and take some pressure off the qb

that would not be the proper philospphy

playing your best players as often as possible is not the best philosophy?

We did that last year with Hilliard at the FB position. I think he had at least two TDs from there

He'll get his touches until he reaches his yardage quota.
