The games you can vote for actually seem pretty badass on further inspection. Think I'll vote for Misamata. I'll defiantly pick it up or Forge even if they win.

I think the last sim I played was a sim city game on the SNES. They're fun, but way beyond my attention span now.

Ended up buying Deus Ex just because it was $5 and I want to try some new games.
speaking of trying new games...I've really been in the mood to play a FPS. I don't really care about multiplayer/online play. I just want a fun story that allows me to kill shite FPS style. Think Goldeneye or early Resident Evil games. I looked at the trailer for the latest resident evil and it didn't really do anything for me. Any of you guys have any suggestions that may fit what I'm looking for?

I'm a little wary of buying digital from Amazon now. Seems like they don't play well with Steam.

I know it won GOTY for the first one and everything I've heard about the series is good, but in all honesty I just can't get past the look of the game. something about the way the characters/npcs are designed just doesn't appeal to me at all. It feels like it was designed by a patient in a mental institute on a really bad acid trip.
