Jefferson brand is another one where 90% of the time you have no clue where their juice is from.

Most of the Rye that doesn't come from one of the big boys is sourced from MGP or Canada

The Jefferson Rye, although sourced from Canada, is legit. Great whiskey for under $40.

Since I know a few of the readers of the thread live around Jackson, MS, here's a pretty good whiskey tasting coming up

I know the single oak project can be hit or miss, but I just opened a bottle from barrel 121. It is a wheater and sooooooo good. I would gladly pay $150 for a regular size bottle.

I celebrated the 4th with four pours last night of 4 different bourbons. It may be my inexperienced pallet, but I did not enjoy that as much as sticking with one kind. It gives me more time to enjoy the one brand.

I did try EHTSB for the first time - very good. I will explore that one by itself tonight.

A few bottles from my trip to Jackson this morning. I am anxious to try the RHF. I've never had it and haven't seen it around BR before.

I'm at my family's annual 4th weekend get together. I had my cousin try some Taylor Barrel Proof last night. He kept telling me how good it is. Then he finally left his bedroom around 11:00 this morning. Then he looked me in the eye and said, "Hey man, thanks for the liquid roofies."

Nice! I have a few 21s that I find tasty. I poured a couple wilitte pot still, rhetoric (love it), weller 12,107,stagg jr mix, and Jefferson marcellos pic. Had a few low fill bottles to finish off.
