No problem. Enjoy, it's a good beer especially for cooler weather.

Rowan's Creek is my all time favorite bourbon.

I am told today at my local wine/liquor/beer store, that several bourbons and scotches will be in VERY short supply due to overseas demand. This includes Noah's Mill, Rowan's Creek, Drum, and others.

So said.,,,only 3 tuna delivered for the entire state if LA to meet sushi demand. Usually 20-30 delivered daily.

I just saw some Van Winkle 12 year old at my local liquor store for $82.99. Is that a good deal?

Yes. If you buy it for me I'll pay you $100 for it.

Seeing the other bar pics, I figured I'd jump on board, too...

Here's my modest collection...not enough space in our condo for a full bar...

(The decanter has JPS 18 in there at the moment)

Enjoy it a lot...not too expensive either, good bang for the buck...

Definitely worth a try, especially if you can get your hands on a bottle of the barrel-strength limited edition. It'll have a year on the label.

What's the story Jack Daniels Green Label...

Someone gave it to me as a gift and love the stuff straight on the rocks but the only place I've seen it sold at is the Rouse's in Covington.

I guess I'll get in on the action. Just picked up the George T. Stagg at a store in Bossier City. Scared of it.

Yes, that is an old-school Bogies koozie in the background.

Well stocked sir. Don't be afraid of the George T Stagg, just know that it's going to be a kick in the teeth and enjoy the shite out of it! Honestly, it's one of the few that I will purposefully drink slowly to let some of the ice melt and dilute it a bit

If everyone else is doing it I guess I'll do it to. It's thanks to threads like this that got me to stop just drinking jack and coke and really exploring what was out there. I'm just starting and have a list of several other bottles I'd like to have in my inventory.

At this rate that 4 Roses Single Barrel is going to be as scarce as Van Winkle. My store was out today. And I still haven't found the 2012 limited edition version.

I'm curious to try that WL Weller 12 I bought today. It was pretty hard to find in Shreveport. It shares the same mash bill with VW Family Reserve 12 but Julian gets first pick at the barrels. Sour Mash Manifesto had good things to say about it.

It's a difficult one to find for sure. I've been looking for it since I saw that review on it.

Speaking of him, not sure if you had seen the post or heard the news, but Stitzel-Weller distillery will be re-opening under new management.
