I need 2 rail lights. One at least 500 lumens and the other 350.

I have zero patience for this. Patient during the assembly but I cannot wait to order parts to finish a build.

What stock and what rail are you planning on?

Magpul ACS-L and Troy Alpha 15"

The Troy fore ends are nice, thin too.
Gonna have to take the gas block off though to install nut as the nut on there now doesnt appear to be the one for the Troy.

No, the Alpha rail works with the standard barrel nut which is what is on there now.

Like DD to make their modular float rail in a 15" length. Ordered a Griffin Armament M4SD flash-comp and I'm interested in how well those peel washers work. Seems everyone has their own technique for using them too.

Have the ACS-L in my safe. Let me know if your interested. It was on my 16" before I put a B5 on it.

Already ordered the ACS-L but if I can change the status before it ships I'll let you know.

In my experience assembling AR's (about 40ish) I have never needed peel washers or shims. The crush washers have always allowed me to torque and time the muzzle device properly. Even on suppressor mounts I haven't need shims. I might just be lucky.
I also put some high temp loctite on the muzzle device, on rifles I know I wont be changing things on anyway.
Torque is 15-20 ft/lbs for an A2 birdcarge per TM 05538C-23&P/2 if anyone was wondering.

Yeah, I've never had a problem with crush washers but the peel washers allow for very precise clocking which might be an issue with some aftermarket muzzle devices. Have to wait and see, the M4SD is quite a bit different from my A2 birdcage.

Cool. I'm in a "pay it forward" mood. I had 2 new B5's come in on BO from June and they no billed me. So, I'm gonna forward the good deed.

If I just want to add a 4mil dot reticle onto my Colt 6920, what mods do I have to do?
I have to remove my carry handle and front site?
Do I have to change the rail?

You don't have to remove the front site post. It blurs at higher mag and you won't notice it. You will have to take off the carry handle if you don't want it super high. I think there will be a picatinny rail underneath the carry handle IIRC. Never messed with one with a carry handle but I'm assuming it will have it.

Has removable carry handle mounted on 1913 rail. So, almost endless mounting options for mounting any optic you choose.
You will not notice the front sight when the optic is magnified.
What optic are you looking at?
