Does anyone think Deftones got softer, if that's even a proper description, because Chino's voice couldn't continue in the Adrenaline format?

It's not Adrenaline hardcore either. That's what I'm saying. I like them at their most hardcore and nothing has been as hard as Adrenaline.
Now before y'all ctrl-c and ctrl-v bits and pieces of my posts, understand that I like the Deftones. I just don't think they've topped Adrenaline yet.
Perhaps I'm just a craggy old young adult.

What band is going to come out and say their current album isn't as good as the previous albums? Every band believes they've dome their best work each and every time.

being in bands, no band wants to make the same record twice
which apparently is what some fans want
bands progress, try new ideas, new thoughts for songs
if the deftones made adrenaline 5 times over, don't you think that would be a little retarded?

I thought about trying to come in and go to the Varsity show with friends but the show is on a Monday. I figured it would be much easier to go to Mobile for some Saturday night wrist action. Only a short drive from me in Pensacola.
