Yes it was. 2011 wasn't the year. No one was expecting that it was a great treat.

With all the circumstances in Texas (aTm), you'd have to be crazy to think he'd chose LSU.

Its Les' job to keep LA recruits in state......if he does that, I think we'll all be happy.

aTm has replaced Arky, but is sitting in a recruiting gold mine......they will become more powerful than Arky ever was.

no way. we'll see what johnny does next year with out two first round tackles and a all american center.

He doesn't have a n.f.l. arm, he's a four year college player.

No one expected it in 2003 or 2007 either. Playing in that game is not something that comes easily. I never expect it. For people to expect a team that went 12-0 with an SECCGC to come back and duplicate that feat again is ridiculous. To expect a very talented team that's going to be more experienced, to come back hungry enough to prove they're the best in the SEC shouldn't be a reach.

I'm not saying they should win the BCS in 2013 but I think the chances are better after the way 2012 went. They should work harder and be more focused next year. They won't be living off of a 12-0 regular season and an SEC CG. They won't be feeling like they were the best team the year before and were somehow slighted by the system (like a lot of LSU fans still are).

Anybody that thinks having to play Bama after beating them didn't affect the team is not being honest with themselves. Anybody who thinks the 2012 team didn't still think they could just show up, go through the motions, get a couple of stops at the end and still win, wasn't watching. The end of 2011 ruined 2012. I'm not saying that's O.K., I'm just saying it won't be the same this year. They should be over all of that and I hope our fans will be too..

RSJ is a really good football player that LSU could have used. If The Tigers get him, great. If not, I think they'll be fine.

There are worse ways to make an announcement. I don't think I'll be pulling against him anytime soon. Except when he plays LSU.

Just saw an Aggie on Facebook taking a stab at us by saying that they stole our prospect. I really want to comment on her saying that we moved on a long time ago from this.

No knock on the kid, he is a very GOOD COLLEGE QB, but won't leave A&M early for the NFL.

Does he have to win a 2nd Heisman or a national championship before we can say he's a great college QB?

But, agreed. He's not leaving unless its to be the #1 pick of the CFL

Wasn't surprised by his decision. He showed real class by sincerely thanking the fans and coaches. I will root for the kid in every game except one.
