Seems like a stand-up guy, good for A&M getting another stud.

Texas didnt want him to play basketball so RSJ started looking around. After he had decommited from Texas they "pulled his offer"

This. Doesn't mean he's a bad player in any regard. Texas has never been a school to let guys play bball/football, and it became A&M's opportunity. It might make UTx change their stance on that in the near future.

Johnny Football's best stats are behind him- will not match totals next year!

Defenses will adjust and teams won't take A&M for granted next year.Johnny Football and A&M will be a target next year by every team.

Reciever is the last thing we should be worried about. There 3 recievers from louisiana in 2014 that will be better propects then him. We should be focused on them.

If I've come off that way, Egg, I do apologize. That was never intended. I consider LSU my favorite rivalry and like to have fun with it.

I'll try and think twice before hitting submit from now on :gigemaggies:

Are the Aggies close to 45 commits yet? Are the new kids on the block trying to follow big 12 rules still?

I look at it as another team that will keep from the NC like this year

You woulda swore we didn't just beat A&M with an inept offense.

Who cares about RSJ? Woulda been nice to have him but oh well, can't get them all. I don't see A&M as having vaulted over LSU in any way.

Of course we haven't vaulted over LSU as a program. But we have vaulted over them as first choice for high end Texas recruits that want to play in the SEC.

We are getting recruits we wouldn't before. That hurts somebody. I'm not sure who though. So far, signs are pointing to OU and Texas. LSU is fine and will continue to be fine as long as Les is at the helm. He's a great coach and a good guy that I personally like

The A&M fans on the SEC Recruiting board have convinced themselves they're going to mop up all the elite talent and "let us have Paris".

Will be fun to follow

I think this is accurate.

But I think the larger picture here is that both LSU and A&M are breaking down the UT barrier and both will benefit from it coming down. And along the way, OU will falter as well.
