Still holds true as of 2 years ago.

Mayweather is talking about 2 fights for next year. Idk who he is going to fight though. Does he go the rematch route?
He will definitely go for JMM again and the canelo alvarez.. thats my best guess.
He can and will beat both of them handily

Mayweather - Marquez

Saul is really good, but is he ready for that level yet? By this time next year maybe he will be. I guess his planned fight with Victor Ortiz was supposed to catapult him into that conversation.

His first fight will be a warmup in the summer (May, most likely).
His second fight will be against Canelo Alvarez in the fall.
Alvarez-Cotto is expected to take place in the spring or summer, despite Cotto losing last weekend. Alvarez will win that fight and his popularity will be at an all time high. There was talk over a year ago about Mayweather-Alvarez in one of those soccer stadiums in Mexico.
Mayweather will hand him his first defeat and he'll call it a career.
Just a little prediction
And he's not going for a rematch with Marquez. He already devastated Marquez.....he'll be bored with a rematch. And Marquez doesn't want another arse whippin like that.

I would like to see Mayweather-Alvarez

Hadn't really been following his personal life. It's unthinkable to me to run through that kind of $.
It's not like there's not well documented cases over the last 40 years of athletes ending up broke because they couldn't manage their lifestyle.

Oh, I certainly wasn't suggesting myself at all. And have no personal allegiance to either of Pac nor Money, though have shaded Floyd over Pac going back years now.
Just respect the opinions of some of the regular fight thread posters, some current and/or retired pro and amateur fighters, etc..that show up in the MMA/Boxing threads over the last 7 years.

I'd like to see Martinez fight Mayweather. Even if Mayweather is to win easily. I still want to see it.

At 154, it's the best fight boxing has to offer. A year ago would have been better though.

I would like to see any fight where somebody wipes the floor with Floyd. After The Gatti - Mayweather fight is when I really started hating Floyd. Even the Hatton fight, where you knew Hatton didnt have a chance in hell, Floyd Sr screwed him on the traing and then bolted before the ref counted to 10.

I actually would like to see JMM vs Canelo on Cinco de Mayo weekend, and PBF vs Khan if he gets back on track.

frickin noone. He is the greatest boxer imagineable at that weight class. But they are boxing purists so they will continue to dismiss ufc.
The system boxing has adapted for who wins a fight makes floyd unbeatable, yet they beg for him to lose. If a young guy with better natural ability came up he wont beat mayweather because his technique is frickin ridiculous. Watch the guy in an unbiased manner and you will see how superior he really is with the current scoring system

What an awful matchup that would be! I wouldn't touch that on PPV.
As for May-Marq or May-Canelo, I would give Marquez a better chance of winning (say, 20% maybe), despite getting dominated in his first fight with Mayweather. I think May would box circles around Canelo. The red rocket couldn't touch May's speed IMO.
