In The Freezer

From the last two months:

Specs
Reds on the half shell
Jalapeño and cheese deer sausage
Regular deer sausage
Deer breakfast sausage
Deer steak

Just cooked a whole speck (killed Sunday) stuffed with fresh deer sausage. Made a gravy and it freaking rocked.

Gotta get the trout out ASAP...might do a fry soon. It has been a real good Oct, nov and dec.

Life is good!! Stop shooting black bears or they will never make it legal!!

Nothing from this season. A little fish left. Still most of the 5 deer from last year in there. Lots of deer ground meat.

I guess it is just hard for me to wrap my head around. I cooked some one day and it was close to the worst thing I have ever eaten. Not hating, but I just can't get past that one bad time.

still got from last year:


squirrel, rabbit, deer sausage, deer roasts, deer ground meat, fish, containers of gumbo, crab and shrimp bisque, and a few other goodies my moms cooks for me to freeze


not sure we gonna have as much this year... if anything. my mom hunts way more than my dad and chemo is kicking her arse right now
