This stuff cracks me up. As a bama fan here is my take. Pat Dye owns alot of land and entertains Auburn supporters, Boosters, and anybody else that can be benificial to Auburn athletics.Hunting, fishing, hanging out drinking bourbon. He is in the loop and earhole of alot of movers and shakers in and around Auburn athletics. His decision making power at Auburn is absolutly zero.

This is true, but he also does this with non-Auburn fans. He also doesnt show up on all the hunts and actually a small amount that you have to pay a lot extra for. it is not something he really wants to do, so he charges a lot extra for it.
