yeah Momofuko Noodle Bar is pretty good. I actually recommend for lunch a place called The Red Farm. It's awesome.

Another nicer recommendation is a place called Mas (Farmhouse). Really good.

Gramercy tavern - thanks for the rec!!! One of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time! Chef Michael even came out and hung out at our table. Very special dinner and absolutely stunning restaurant!

Check out Gennaro. One of my favorite upper west side Italian joints. It's at 665 Amsterdam Avenue.

While on the side stop by Cafe Lalo for a hot cup of coffee and dessert.

If you're in the Bleecker Street area in the West Village, FISH at 280 Bleecker has an amazing Grilled Tuna Salad Sandwich that you will crave when you get home. Cool place to have a beer and watch the foot traffic go by

Spotted Pig- voted best burger in NYC
Mesa grill was badass. Great date night cocktail place
Lombardis was great
Johns on Bleeker Pizza - rivaled Lombardis. Damn good
Carmine's is good for family style Italian in broadway area

Also kind of a curveball but the week before wife and I went we saw a place called the doughnut plant on food network. They were voted best doughnuts or some shite but anyways we went and I still get a chub thinking about their cake doughnuts.

The Breslin is owned by the same woman(April Bloomfield). Their lamb burger is one of the best things I have ever eaten.

The Breslin's french fries are amazing. They also serve a Scotch Egg in the evening that's good too. A Scotch Egg is a slightly boiled egg that's wrapped in Italian sausage, breaded and deep fried. They'll make it for lunch at your request but it's not on the lunch menu.
