Why doesn't SEC "pressure" Outback rather than Cotton to take UGa?

After all, both are the same in pecking order with Outback picking from the East and Cotton picking from the West.

Makes ZERO sense to bump a higher ranked LSU team from Cotton instead of USC from Outback.

Complete and utter BS. This is what should happen if it was truly about fairness.

It makes sense if the the team they are playing is Clemson. It would be a rematch, correct?

If the outback is allowed to take USC over us and Georgia because they feel it's a better matchup the cotton should be free to choose whoever they want

The SECr is citing the AJC for reporting Georgia to the Cotton Bowl.

Why doesn't the SEC pressure the Cap One to take Georgia over A&M? I like Johnny Football, but cheesus, he's a freshman. He's 2-2 against BCS AQ teams with winning records.

Better question is why is the ACC opponent dictating this? Choose another shitty ACC team and it all works out.

If we didn't go to the Cap One we would still go to the Cotton. Yall are going to the Chicken, which in the end isn't a bad bowl.

I would watch Texas A&M play Texas in the Cotton

A&M vs Michigan or Nebraska in the Capitol One, I'll watch the highlights

You do have a point I just think in that case Texas would be passed up. Don't really know though, Texas shouldn't even go with how shitty of a year they have had.

A South Carolina vs. Clemson rematch in CFA bowl sounds like a CFA bowl problem...not a Cotton bowl problem.

If CFA bowl doesn't want a rematch, then then should invite a different ACC team other than Clemson.

Easy for you to say...It's all about perception. LSU's quality wins are TAM & USCe. We were one first down from being in this game today vs Georgia. We were one fumble away against FLA from possibly being undefeated. LSU deserves the Cap One in my opinion. It also deserves the Cotton, at minimum. Face it, TAM has Manziel. That's the only reason they get the Cap One. If any team belongs in the Chicken Bowl...it's TAM. But politics rule so "I'll have a Chicken Sandwich with no pickle please".

I mean every team in the NCAA can play the what if card, at the end of the day we are both two loss teams. We have JFF yall don't, it's what is getting us into the Cap One. Not saying its right just the way it is.

Why would we want anyone to pressure the Outback to take us?

LSU vs Northwestern in Tampa at 10am...

I think that is the only potential matchup that I might shoot myself if we get. Good god the Outback is awful...I'll take CFA over Outback by a mile.

Whoever gets that game, and it appears to be USCe, is the one getting screwed in this whole deal.

LSU vs Clemson in primetime or LSU vs Northwestern at 10am.... Cmon guys, what game sounds better to you?
