I agree, he has thrown too many picks, our receivers have played a huge role in his decline this year both completion percentage and INTs, it is painfully evident that Curtis Johnson was very important to this team.

I meant specifically the last 2 games, which is why everyone is PMSing right now, the D out performed the frick out of our offense. They made massive stands in those games, or key turnovers or key stops, and the offense didnt do shite afterwards. Or we got a lead and the offense fizzled or Drew threw a pic. The last 2 games had nothing at all to do with the Defense. They have been steadily improving each week, and there is plenty of evidence to suggest this is how Spag's defense works. No reason to think they will suddenly relapse. I agree they were terrible in the beginning of the year, but for all intensive purposes, that wasnt even our defense. It was missing a LB coach (who is a huge presence in the lockerrrom), our starting MLB and DE(both team leaders and Will Smith is one of the most respected players on the team by his teammates) and we had a new DC with an entirely new system and no HC.

The oline started off crappy as their coach bit off way more than he could chew and took the HC job. When Vitt got back they improved, then they got bit by the injury bug hard. They are getting beat on the outside, but PCM also isnt leaving RBs or TEs in as blockers enough, and isnt running an effective offense when opposing defenses get blitz happy.

They only did that like 25/64 times from 08-11, so is it hard, yes. Is it a crazy thing to ask of our offense? Not at all. We need Payton. PCM Jr. isnt cutting it. More than the oline, more than the defense, more than anything else we need our fricking coach.

I have ranted and digressed alot in this post, but to sum up:

Drew Brees was an elite QB, Drew Brees is an elite QB, and Drew Brees is absolutely in the same category as Manning and Brady career wise.

1. The offense definitely looks lost and poorly coached. They dont have their coach.

Again, it isnt the interim HC/ LB coachs job to learn how to run an offense and make in game adjustments. That is the offensive coordinators job. And i get that the HC should keep him in line, but there is a big difference in the HC and the interim HC who really has no authority as far as personnel and coaching positions, etc...
