Les Miles is not stupid, and is not leaving the gravy train that is LSU football.

So Arkansas would hire a "pound the rock" offensive disciple to follow an offensive guru?

Miles would leave LSU with its recruiting base, chance as history to go to a school in the Ozarks who he once insulted by calling the R-Kansas?

That's laughable.

There is some very surprising depth to this rumor.

That's all I can say.

I'm not reading this whole thread, but what are our chances on getting to the Rose Bowl?

Geez. Let Miles go if he wants, someone else will pick right up, and kick arse... No problem!!!

Thats the problem, if so many think Miles was a bad hire, what makes you think we could make the rt hire this time? Very few coaches do well their first year in the sec. Miles and Sumlin seem to be exceptions.

This would be the correct thing to do. Its not Chavis' fault the defense is beat down and exhausted. Hell they have to stay on the field 3/4 the time most of the games. And if he says no, then no $$$.

LOL.

LSU top 31:09

op TOP 28:51

you haters just need to stop. You are an embarassment. The d wasnt even on the field for half the time the whole season.

In this case, it may say more about Arkansas than anything (and I like Miles).

Such as?

Sounds like this was the first offer Arkansas put out, that says a lot about what they think about Miles.

I truly believe Saban would come back here and retire if LSU pursued him hard enough.

My point was not about getting someone "better." I was making a reference twords those who feel if Les left we would be screwed. We are a power in the best conference and anyone in their right mind knows the talent pool that resides in this state is second to none. Just like with the player, LSU can recruit itself a coach. No we would not get Saban, but we could very well get a proven coach who is ready to square up against him every year.

If Arkansas offers more, you never know. This whole thing screams of a pay raise from LSU though. Agents posturing.

At this point, if I'm alleva, I match the offer, but tell miles he has to find a real established OC. Pay raises for Wilson and chief.

. Good call
