As far as yards per play, the best metric to measure offensive and defensive strength, Niners are #2 in offense at 6.1 yards per play behind Wasington and #1 in defense at 4.5 yards per play.
stacked?

If there is an award for Bandwagon Fan of The Year you must be in the top 5
oh and
you keep your midsection totally unprotected
really, really bad technique

What do you think is? I don't think SF should be penalized because they run 15 less plays per game than New England.
This means their offense is more "efficient".
Curious what you think though, maybe there's something I'm missing.
Surely it's better than simply yards per game though.

WE had a 10 year run of being elite in NBA... we were due to come down sometime..even when Dirk comes back we will be a fringe playoff team at best.

Not arguing with him, just curious which metric he thinks is better.

The Texans are more stacked than the 49ers.

With their entire LB unit either out for the season or atleast 3-4 Weeks?
Stacked might be a stretch

So you honestly think the Niners and the redskins are the two best offenses in the NFL?
That's all the argument that needs to be made

the Niners are fun to watch, that much is for sure.

I think yards per play is a good stat but not a great one. If you don't have a good enough offense to sustain drives..IE have playmakers to extend drives on 3rd and medium to long... Which teams like Saints, Patriots, Texans etc have..then that yards per play doesn't mean squat.
Turnover margin is still the most important stat in football..jmho

Weren't the Chargers #1 in offense and defense, yet way under .500 a season or two ago? Useless
