as a fan, i wish he was a little more articulate and not so quirky on gameday. when we are winning championships it is cute and funny. when you drop a big game or two it is polarizing and not hard to understand why evil media members or message board people give him so much crud all the time.
if i played for him i would run buck arse naked through a flaming brick wall for him. it's not hard to see why they love the guy. as long as we keep competing for championships i'll take the whole package.

And let me tell you that 98% of LSU fans have a much deserved respect for Auburn considering what your program has had to deal with since Saban came on board. Good luck sir!

After beating Urban Meyer in 2007 Florida game, after converting five critical 4th down plays, Miles walked off that field and straight into legend. He is one of the few coaches to become a legend in his own time. Like Genl Lee and the Army of Northern Virginia, the men believe in him and he believes in the men. Astonishing accomplishments start happening then, unexplainable by talent and numbers and x's and o's.

I'm with you, Hot Carl. I'll take Les every day over Dick Satan and as frustrated as I get with Les, I still wouldn't want anyone else. There is no one else who could possibly have given me the enjoyment I've had watching LSU football since Les arrived. Don't care what anyone else thinks. Les is a winning character. Every season isn't perfect, but every season is interesting and emotional, win or lose.
