Either chili, spaghetti, spaghetti and meaballs, taco's, or taco salad. The meat is thawed, just have to see which direction the old lady and crumb snatchers want to go.

Pancakes, fried eggs and pork sausage patties on the griddle. Toast and homemade scuppernong jelly.

Supposed to get down to 38 here tonight, and I like to eat breakfast for supper on cold nights.

I always need a nudge for new ideas. The dietician at the gym (and yes she's hot) walked by and I asked "What did you have for dinner?"
Her: "BBQ shrimp with the in-laws. Not really very healthy."
Me: "Oooh, I could make shrimp pasta salad with mushrooms and black olives"
Her: "Great idea."

That's what I'm doing. Rainbow pasta, sauted mushrooms in butter, chilled and ready to serve with shredded Romaine. Dressing was a mix of Mayo, olive oil and red wine vinegar. With a dash of cayenne.

For two reasons there will be nothing. I don't want to hurl anything that I put down later. The second is being busy all day after voting early, with my cardiologist and staff getting roto-routed for a blockage.

Grilled chicken breast and steamed green beans. I haven't have a drink in 2 weeks so I think I'll have some Macallan 15 after while I watch the election results.
