So, where do y'all think TM7 lands on the list of all time wastes of talent to suit up for the purple and gold, any sport?
Cecil Collins is still the king of this list in my opinion.

a solid #2 position. RP#3, Larry Foster is still in my top 10.

Great list so far! Gotta be more to fill in spots that we aren't thinking of.

can't forget Cecil "The Diesel" Collins. He moved so powerfully and quick, he ran out of his shoes (or shoe) one time.

1. Collins
2. TM7
3. RP
Any list that isnt in that order is wrong.

Mathieu was the only established talent and was a legit Heisman contender. We never got to see what Perrilloux and Collins would be able to do as "the guy".
For that reason, I think Tyrann tops the list.

RP hurt the program big time. TM7's intangibles are missed, but I think DBU will recover.

Collins couple of super impressive games made it pretty clear what he had in his bag of tricks.
What TM7 did last year, most people hope to accomplish in a career, for that reason you could almost say he wasn't a waste, we just got all the production in a short amount of time.

How did LSU waste TM's talent. Miles and Chief were able to get an under-sized DB to produce big plays. He was a player that essentially did not have a traditional position that was worked into the defense. His talent while on the team was most likely maximized. If we are going to talk about wasted talent we should look at players who under performed or did not develop due to team circumstances.
Examples being Shepard, Ruben Randle ( although he was our best receiver he was domed to play with Jefferson as hi QB which hurt his production), Bert Jones ( on of the most herald passing QB's in his day but was forced to split time because he was ahead of his time), Wade Richey ( kicked 65 yard field goals in High School and then the Dinardo coaching staff tried to change the way he kicked)

This isn't a coach waste of talent roster, this is the person who wasted his own talent bro.

he did more in 2 years than most anyone did in their 4 years in lsu history. so hardly a waste.

This actually made it more of a waste because just think of how much more the kid could have accomplished.
