How about let's see something besides the I formation. Maybe some wishbone, Maryland I...

Let's use these running backs 3 at a time and screw with every other teams strategy.

Didn't say it was my first choice of a offense, but we really aren't doing that much else other than punting. At least put more of our talent on the field.

You crossed it twice last time.
Going forward and backward.

I'd be more open to 3 and 4 WR sets to throw off the opposing defense rather than condensing all 11 players into a small box if I were an lsu fan

I want to see Shep run the cat... and throw it once just to show them he may do it... with Hill back there and multiple variations off of it with lots of mis-direction.

"If" should be considered the abbreviation of "Since we are ineffective at any other part of a normal college level offensive strategy and the most impotent passing game we've had since around 1997 (roughly) there's no other choice than"

Would be nice, but we're not heavy on good ball protection receivers. We are heavy on a diverse group of running backs. And our Quarterback seems a bit more concerned with his mustache than making good passes.

To be fair, we tried running out of 3 WR sets against Florida and all Florida did was completley disregard the slot WR, stack the box, and constantly stuffed us for a loss. I'm still amazed how we did not take advantage of the fact Florida was not covering the slot WR.

We actually did that against USCe with success... I saw a 4-wides set about 5-6 times in that game. I almost fainted.

Especially when (first play of 4th qtr) USCe left Jarvis Landry uncovered with no defender in the slot and was playing cover zero with no safety. Net result was we ran the ball to the other side of the field for 6yds and a first down.

My personal favorite is when LSU pitches the ball back 5 yards on 3rd & Short.

I hate this play. I hate it. Hate it.

It never works. We don't use it to set anything up. We telegraph to the defense who is getting the ball 5 yards behind the LOS.

I wish we would get rid of it from the playbook.
