Sherlock but that isn't really a comment on Supernatural, of which the first 5 seasons are really fantastic but, you know, 6 episodes versus 150ish.

Haven't seen Supernatural but Sherlock is an absolutely awesome show.

This. Sherlock is better and shorter, but Supernatural is well worth watching.

Sherlock is awesome. Just watch it on a large tv b/c they employ text on screen at times and it's really tiny IMO.
I like Supernatural too but it can get kind of cheesy at times. It's sort of like if you combined X-Files with Buffy. It also has an obvious CW/WB type feel to it which can be a turnoff to some.
I'd watch Sherlock first since its only 6 hour and a half episodes. I think it kicks the two recent big screen versions square in the nuts.

Sherlock is 6 MOVIES about 1 hour and 40+ minutes long each. Well worth the watch. Supernatural seasons 1-5 and now 8 are really good though
