You think this years Ole Miss team is the same as last years?
No but, you struggled to put up 35 on a team Texas dropped 60 on. Bama isn't better than they were last year. Ole miss shouldn't be scoring 14 against you guy and basically shutting you down the entire 2nd half.

Laugh all you want but 3 national titles in 4 years is a very rare thing. Especially now being that there is more parity in CfB than ever before.

Saban is a great college coach because he is a great recruiter. That's really what the college game is about IMO.
Despite what Saban lovers say he was a horrific NFL coach. Had zero respect in the locker room. He tried his college ways with NFL players and coaches. He really was a laughing stock.
It just wasn't his game.
BB is in another league. One of the leagues best coaches ever. That being said, I don't know how good he would be at the college level. I can't imagine Bill going through all the recruiting crap. He would hate that shite.

Cincinnati, TCU and Boise were all undefeated. But even if Bama was the undefeated and everyone else had 3 losses it would still be a popularity contest because its decided by an opinion poll.

We can stop touting national championships as soon as we stop touting Big Ten championships. Michigan State won a share of the Big Ten championship in 2010 and lost 49-7 to the 5th best SEC team that year. Conference championships mean very little in bad leagues. At least with a national title you have to beat a #1 or #2 ranked team to win it all.

Conference championships are objective. MNCs are subjective. You can argue who has the prettiest jersey all day I'll focus on the wins and losses

their value is completely subjective

not all wins are equal, though
and let's not forget the issues with the NFL playoffs, namely the fact that too many teams are allowed in. take the Giants last year. they're not even close to being the best team all year, but they're the champs. NFL titles really don't tell you the whole story, either

It means you were objectively the best team in your conference nothing subjective about that.

Yeah winning at a perennial loser like Kansas State is far far more impressive than winning at a blue blood like Alabama.

well that's not ALWAYS true, but is true the vast majority of the time. but that's not what i said
their value is subjective. if you win the big10 this year, it doesn't really mean much. the big10 sucks

i don't think many people deny bill snyder's greatness
that wasn't the point though. winning 6 games against the sun belt isn't the same as winning 6 games in the SEC

So you are just going to completely dismiss Sabans entire body of work (including all of his national championships) bc he coaches at a very good football program???
Apparently conference championships are now more important than national championships??? And winning the mwc is now equal to winning the sec???
Where are you going with all of this? You are spewing crap.

Woody's Ohio State program was Alabama's prison bitch in his only head to head meeting against Bear Bryant.
Because one game defines a program and a 26 year career. That's a stupid fricking statement you made right there. Alabama was the better team by far that day.
BTW, Woody is credited with five national championships. How many does Saban have again?

WRONG. LSU won the SEC last year, but Bama was better than LSU.
"LSU won against Bama."
How'd that work out when Bama was ready for JJ?

Our Offense is, and I know exactly what you're saying. Our third quarter performance says otherwise. OM had the ball almost the entire quarter. They were moving the ball on our D with their hurry up attack. We didn't have much time to get going after halftime until later in the game.

Towson dropped 22 on you. One is a shitty FCS team, the other is in the SEC West.
