Yall hunt a lot differently than we do here. A few years ago I was hunting in south Alabama on a friend's place. I was on the stand before daylight and didn't make it out of the woods until after dark. The rest of the gang was waiting on me at the cabin and said they were worried that something happened to me. They had left their stands about 9 am and went back about 4 pm. I told em that I'm used to staying out all day and not coming in until it's too dark to see the front sight on the rifle. They never stayed on stand all day. Some of the biggest and smallest deer I have ever killed have been in the middle of the day...

Depends on a lot of stuff. Daylight savings time, is a big one.

But, I usually hunt until at least 11am and try to be back in the stand by 3pm at the latest, this time of year. It will change to 2pm once the time changes.
