The plate setter used for indirect heat is usually the first thing folks here will recommend as an accessory to the BGE. You can read about it on the BGE website/forums. You might want to sign up for the forums on that site.

Get a platesetter from the get go for sure. Also going to need that ash tool thing. I also use my grid extender at least 50% of the time. Those 3 things are what I consider must haves.
