Evidently Barbe can't cover anyone either. An Evangel wr had 3 80 yard catches.

barbe's D isn't that great but 2 of those plays weren't regular plays

one was a halfback toss-pass

one was a QB scramble where he ran all the way across the field right upfield and then launched it deep. he had been running himself on those plays all night and was close to/over the LOS

how does Quinn compare to former Evengel WR Abram Booty? I remember in the 90's how Abram also had amazing stats starting his Freshman year.

Who is the Evangel QB? They say he threw for over 600yards!

Dakota Duron. Really good high school QB, but not a college prospect at all. He's about 5-9.

i have no idea. quinn is probably 5-11 and runs a legit 4.4ish. he's also really quick and is natural catching it

i don't know who he compares to, but he was clearly on a different level athletically than anyone on the field last night

D was hurt and limping around most of the game, so he didn't display much

i don't go to many barbe games, but quinn has been doing that since he was a freshman

if not 5-7

both the QBs last night would be good college prospects if they weren't midgets

I agree. The Duron kids have all been just as good as the Booty kids on the high school level. They just were not blessed with the size and arms of the Bootys.

What was more impressive than the stats was that Smith stayed in the game with a bad foot to help his team, and Quinn had to go to the locker room for an IV in the 4th quarter. He was playing free safety trying to help his team there and got leg cramps. He came back out the last drive and made a play to help his team win. That is why I would love to see these two pair up in the purple and gold and keep doing what they do for teams!

There's always this guy. The guy that thinks he's heard something relevant or has a connection. My guess is that he heard Quinn went to A&M last weekend for a trip which in his mind = A&M is pushing LSU.

From everything from people on this board that know him to LSU paysites to A&M paysites......

Quinn = LSU LOCK

Want to tell us that Smith is reconsidering Alabama as well?

Did I say Quinn was going to A&M? NO, I said as of now he is drinking the A&M kool-aid ( buying what they are selling). The kid is a JR and I'm sure a lot will change by the time he graduates. I know that IF he had to pick today that LSU could finish second. I spoke with DeSean and his dad (we are both in law enforcement) and DeSean couldn't be happier with his LSU commitment. So no I'm not going to say he is reconsidering Bama

Holy shite those were his final numbers? I stopped paying attention after 3 TD's and thought his night was done. BEAST MODE.

While I agree with you on it is exciting to see more passing A&M passed for 173 yards last week and Manziel looks to have average arm strength that doesn't stretch the field and strike fear into SEC defenses.

Two things:

1. I'm not arguing for A&M.

2. A&M isn't so stupid to base their recruiting arguments on this year. They are basing it on Sumlin's track record at UH and what he plans on building going forward. They are basing it on offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury selling his ties to Leach's offense at Texas Tech and the success they had there.

These are compelling points for any WR who enjoys his 10 catch, 350-yard gams.

He's not a lock. A&M has him intrigued. Still a little work to do for LSU. I'd say 80-20 LSU, but not over.

i love it when cocksuckers from a recruit's hometown say he loves such and such school to make themselves feel important and their hometown player seem more desired.

Fontenot is a stud baseball player, but if he wants to play college football he will. Just not as a QB probably

Something I believe everyone is overlooking about Quinn. His Dad went to LSU and he posts on just about every topic about Quinn. He will be a Tiger.

No I will not say which poster his Dad is, but just look at all the Quinn topics and you will see.
