Honore' organized what had been a clusterfrick and gave people reason to believe. He deserves credit. I guarantee you he kicked some arse when he hit the ground and he made a difference. Firsthand, brah.

Honore' took charge and got shite moving forward. Something NOBODY had the balls or the knowlege to do at that point other than some incoherent rant on the radio by Mr. Chocolate City himself.

Complete and utter fact. Fact. If you think you know otherwise . . . you need a reality check. I know shite you don't, holmes. Promise. Either that or I expect more from utility monopolies.

You spew bullshite because you're mad. That's fine. But I'll call you out on it.

There is no definite answer when it's impossible to predict what's going to happen. You run with it. That's what storm restoration is.

Then get back to work and stop posting on TD so the rest of us can get back to work and make some money.

We were spared from massive outages.

Entergy's labor relations and contracting policy that results in more limited resources on the ground.

Plus their fricked up bullshite PR crap that's spewed on radio and tv by "Uncle" Charles Rice.

But I don't give a shite anymore because I now have AC.

I will agree with you that the PR department is bad. In many cases, the PR people are too far removed from what's really going on. But utilities are required to have a restoration plan, review it, and follow many compliance standards. If there was an issue in following through on that plan, somebody will find out...specifically the PSC.

I don't work for Entergy. I work for a utility west of the storm path. We had a handful of outages that were repaired within hours.

Please keep posting your opinions and findings on this issue. I'm very curious to see how this turns out. People on both sides of the issue are very committed to their opinions. I would love to learn the truth one day.

My tentative hunch is that Entergy is going to look bad once all the facts are in, but, I'm going to keep an open mind. It would be GREAT if the TD folks interested in this issue would be able to learn the truth one day right here on TD.

Aided by rubber stamps in the hands of our PSC. I was appalled by the huge fleet of bucket trucks and other repair vehicles idling much of the past few days in Swaggert's parking lot. Why they aren't deployed at 11 AM on a sunny day is a mystery to me.

And don't even get me started about how they will use this storm to rape their customers again. And I'm not sure about other folks, but I'm pretty sick of paying a fuel surcharge implemented when gas was $13.50 when it's now <$1.00.
