Just got word that there was no damage. A few pines fell in the back, but no structural damage to the camp. Lake got 14 inches of rain which I needed, and it never even lost power.

Got the call, we have power just don't know if there are any problems south of us with those lines.
Wish I could go down and check things and sit in a/c.

Probably got 6 foot in my camp close to lake bourne with the 8.5 ft surge. Likely a loss, hope the teal still come by.

Qt. I run on generator only off oak bayou. No lines. If four points has power, there are camps I can stay at if my camp is not secure. I'm planning on going Sunday for survey.

If you have power, why wouldn't u have Ac?

Will look that up, I thought I remembered you saying you were 5 miles north of Last Isle. I was like, WTF?
I'm on 6.2KW generator in the city and also feeding a neighbor. Not enough for a/c. The camp is set, just hate to leave here with no lights, etc.
Good luck with you camp bro.

We've got a place about 10 miles from Tylertown (between Osyka and Tylertown). Yesterday, neighbors said everything was good, however, BogaChita has probably not crested yet. We are about 200 yds from the river. Neighbor said the place didn't flood in early 80s flood and to keep fingers crossed.

Ours was ok yesterday, save for one piece of tin on the roof. It might be wet now though.

I'd go check it out in the morning but I think the interstate will still be closed at Sorrento.

That clusterfrick of road blocks took me 2 hours 45 minutes to get from BR to Gramercy, and my power was out again when I got home. I just packed a weekend bag and came back to BR to crash at a friends place. I hope this water starts dropping quick

My dad just sent me pictures from Fourchon. No damage to camp. A little dock damage, but nothing significant. Couldn't get to the island to check on his buddy's camp because part of hwy 1 was washed out.

My Uncle went to Lafiette

3 Foot of water in our Bayou Norman Camp

The tool shed and outdoor stuff we had is gone never to bee seen again.

But the generator shed in the back did well!

The water is about a half inch under the floor now

I went today. Almost couldn't make it there in my truck. Found some high ground to park on and had to put hip boots on before I got out the truck.

Needless to say, your dove plot is now a navigable waterway

We had an inch of water in ours before it started coming up, so we've definitely got a good bit in there now, not sure how much. We'll have to get in there and rip some stuff out after this shite drains

We made it to ours on Bayou Norman also. Fortunately we are a little higher and only had a few torn screens. We passed by your camp and saw how bad it looked. We took some pictures in case you didn't make it there yet. sorry to hear and see that My old camp was about the same height as yours and use to take a beating also,
