Ya know, NF, I bet Ole Geauxt would enjoy a trip to the East Tennessee mountains next year on or around the last week of August. I'm sure he would be very appreciative to attend BMS. You would probably need to hide his credit cards and cell phone, though, just in case he contemplated an escape attempt? Plus, what better opportunity to swap and compare apple pie recipes?

Awesome pics man. I want to check out a nascar race in person one day. i'm supposed to be leaving for Indy on Thursday morning for the NHRA US Nationals. Seeing top fuel dragsters & funny cars launch in person is damn near the coolest thing I've ever seen.

You would definitely enjoy the Spring Nationals there at Thunder Valley adjacent to Bristol Motor Speedway.

Glad to see you had a great time. If you get the chance to go back and camp out it will even be better. Weather this year was as nice as it's been for the past 4 or 5 years, you picked a good one to go to.

We did have a good time. Didn't get to do everything we wanted but we'll be better at it next time

I would camp you can take a big cabin type tents and all the gear in the world and a hell of a time, they have showers there you can pay a couple of bucks and its a hell of a lot cheeper than any hotel within a hour and a half.
