Help Identifying Ducks…

I have searched everywhere to identify these ducks that frequently visit our pond. But no luck, what so ever, and so I need your help. The pictures I’ve taken are really crappy and the ducks cannot be seen clearly, I’ve tried my best!
They have bright orange bills & feet, definitely the brightest I’ve seen on a duck. Grey head that comes down the neck about half way, and then from there down the wings, and back is a dark burnt orange/red color. There is a thin white line at the tip of the wings. And the belly is a dark grey/black color.
They have been visiting since around the beginning of this year. We see them about once or twice a month. It’s always the two of them, except yesterday it was just one. They never get in the pond they just walk around it and get in the wood duck box.
My fiancé is an avid hunter, and he even said he hasn’t seen them before moving into our house.
So if you know what kind of duck this is, we’d greatly appreciate it!
TIA!

Strange looking ducks. Not native to LA?

Could be a hybrid. The first thing I thought of when you said bright Orange feet I thought spoonie. The burnt Orange and red back is weird though

Hard to tell... But on a side note my daughter has a great Fisher Price digital camera that I'll let go for $50. I'll even pay for the shipping

A buddy of mine has a pair mount of two banded whistlers that he an his dad shot years and years apart. They load up in the ponds right behind our camp and one afternoon he grabbed his gun and picked off the banded one in the group flying over.
He's got no use for two of em.
