despite what some think Miles lets his RB coach determine the reps, and Wilson has always said he wants one or 2 guys to be the main guys. Which we did last season until injuries.

Porter was responsible for the random RB rotation in prior years, he wasn't too well liked amongst his players

that's a bingo!

You do realize he does his job which is to wear down defenses early in games.

I'm sure the coaches would prefer him to gain more yards. He looked overweight and slow last year, so unless he gets his burst back I hope he gets less carries.

Ware if he gets back in shape. Then Ford and Hilliard.

looking forward to seeing ware after a full football off season.

probably ware/hilliard with ford and blue mixed in. i think hill will start to get his touches later on in the season similar to hilliard last year.

is magee going to redshirt?

How awesome is it that we can even have this debate? It is ridiculous the different number of combinations people have come up with, which just shows off the tremendous depth we have at the RB position. No other school can even have this debate, while we legitimately have 5-6 different guys we can use and arguably not drop off one bit.

I was just about to say something along these lines. I love the fact that we have so many to pick from, that everyone has their own personal favorite(s). There are so many differing opinions on who will be our guy at RB. It truly is a great problem to have.

Going by what I have seen to this point in time, it's Ware and Hilliard.

Also speaks volumes of Miles' ability to keep these guys happy and not have them transfer and to keep recruits wanting to come here despite being staaaccccckkkeed. Sorry - off topic, but just pointing out some positives.

magee could find a niche in passing downs. I'm not sure Miles even really believes in redshirting RBs because this state routinels cranks them out. If he can find some area they can contribute, even if only on STs, they will.

It's crazy how McGee went from being a freshman that Miles consistently singled out as an early contributor last year to the 6th option now. I would like to know more about how McGee has been performing in practice.

Hillard and my boy BLUE!!! We are soooo lucky to have this many quality running backs on our squad. It's nice to know we are so deep at a very key position.

Teams that rely on one running back (South Carolina and Latimore last year)get screwed when the number one guy goes down. We shouldn't have that problem as there isn't much drop off from 1 to #4 at RB on our team.

Please, God, let us give Hilliard the opportunity to live up to his potential. He can pull SO much more weight than we've let him.

People forget how strong Ware was the first half of the season. Guy was running over people before he got in trouble... he will be the man again

Ware will start all season and Ford will come in as change of pace type back. Hilliard and Blue will come in like they did last year.

Blue makes me think of Addai, I think he will contribute big this year, but it's nearly impossible to predict who will bring it big. It's a good problem to have.
