without turning this into a "Michael Ford is the greatest running back of all time" thread, which two do you think it will be.

i think hilliard will be full time starter for most of the season.

discuss.

I think Hilliard and Blue emerge as the top 2 early on. But that doesn't mean Ware and Ford won't make key contributions for stretches of the season.

I'm hoping for Hill and Hilliard, personally.

I agree with this ...dude is a wrecking ball.

I think the second RB to step up is going to be Alfred Blue...dude has wheels and would be a different style than Hilliard.

if ware got his arse back in shape, I think its him and Hilliard.

Ford will still see action, but the option no longer being a part of the offense or at least not as much that may hurt his reps.

do you think he could mean guys who aren't the best RB or even top 3 RB on the team rather one of the less known guys so they can make a big contribution.

Ford is the only true HR threat out of the bunch

i actually think ware falls behind the pack.

i think even hill might surpass him on depth ch by the time the season reaches the end.

of course, i've just assured him 1500 yds and 20 TD's. which i'm ok with.

Well, based on the latter half of 2011, I think Hilliard is similar to but better than Ware. Meanwhile, my personal hunch is that Hill is better than them all. JMO.

Ford can be just as effective without the option.

i really think miles was only communicating to his players. trying to urge them on to improving in whatever they have targeted as a need to improve area. i really can't see a reason to limit p.t. to 2 guys, not the way sec rb's get hammered. fresh legs have been too important to change now.

I think people are letting the last bit of the season affect their opinion on Ware. Dude is a ram and wears the shite out of opposing defenses.

you know LSU runs by committee not by best player. We never look to put one back in there and let him get all the yards, we share the load between atleast 3 or 4 RBs.

Ware will get the ball
Ford will get the ball
Blue will get the ball
Hilliard Will get the ball
and lastly Hill will get the ball.

their carries won't be even but we will def see a mix of running backs in all situations throughout the season.

Magee will shock the world and be the starter with Blue right behind him

i think the statement is just a personal challenge. he's got a stable so competition will do nothing but inspire performance and illustrate who has "the want". yeah, i said it.
