This isn't a sports scandal. This had nothing to do with the athletics side of things. If Sandusky was molesting players, then sure, yeah it has something to do with it. This has absolutely nothing directly related to the football program.

Sandusky did these activities on his own time away from the game. He wasn't apart of the AD anymore. Paterno's involvement was finding out, telling the President/Board, and then doing nothing else. He's dead and gone so he's not relevant anymore. This story doesn't belong on ESPN anymore.

It's a scandal that happens to involve some former sports figures, but it doesn't tie into the sport itself. SMU, The Mitchell Report, etc. were/are all sports scandal. This is a story of a former coach being a child molester in his spare time. Leave it to Nancy Grace and Bill O'Reilly and stick to sports talk.

Jerry Sandusky was a coach at Penn State, where athletics are played, and he used the gym to molest children.

How is this not related to athletics?

Again, WTF?

Sandusky did these activities on his own time away from the game.

But in the gym at Penn State using the school funds for his charity. But, please continue...

aterno's involvement was finding out, telling the President/Board, and then doing nothing else.

AND...helping to cover it up

Yeah, you're right. What WNBA game would you like to watch? Or which golf tournament not involving Tiger Woods should they put on?

Penn State is a university BEST KNOWN for Joe Pa and football. Sorry but they are and will always be a football school first. Anything they do ties into sports

Bill O'Reilly is an idiot.

Same goes for Nancy Grace.

I would rather Chris Berman speak on the matter than either one of those POS

I agree it's a big scandal.. but guess what.. I don't want to fricking hear about it all day. turns out some people listen to ESPN radio to pass the day at work. And we don't want to just hear 38 different people say the same god damn thing about penn state.

But not everyone pretends to work and listens to the radio all day. It is meant to be on so that people who randomly tune in can catch it.

Ever listen to a radio station? They play the same five songs every hour.

You are trying to frame me as someone else because you have no argument at all. Pretty pathetic. What are this sites rules on flamming/trolling? I'd venture to guess you are breaking them. Idiot.

seriously? Youre trying this again?

You have the same type of name/posting style/areas that you post/opinions. Its just obvious man.

Oh and please, RA me for trolling/flaming all you want. Youve done that to me before and i never got banned or a PM and all it does is bring your trolling to the Admins attention. And then they ban you again. Same shite, different week. You would think you would get smarter with each alter but you make the same mistakes because you want to be caught because you love internet attention that much

You're a moron!

This is a huge sports and news story. As others have said,it's one of biggest SPORTS scandals in history.

It has far reaching societal and college football implications!

Paterno was lauded for years but was a fraud!

Awe, I'm sorry you can't multitask, life must be hard. And even if someone did this, they could tune in before and after work and lunch.. All 3 talking about the same damn story about a school I just don't give a frick about

ESPN over plays every major sports story, but that is besides the fact here. You obviously are not interested in any of it, yet you are posting comments, similar ones, on every thread relating to this story. On a sports website. If you are not trolling, then you are one dumb sob if you honestly don't feel that this is sports related. I agree, go find a channel covering the WNBA & enjoy "real" sports as you define it. For better or worse, society today is all entwined with sports & that genie is long out the bottle.
