This is why ESPN sucks,

The Freeh Report drops and now 3 of their 4 channels will be talking about it nonstop for the next 24 hours. Why? It's not a sports story anymore. Sandusky is in the clink/on his way to the clink, Paterno is dead, and the only parties alive involved with it still are University presidents. Leave this shite to the 24 hour newsstations and talk about current/future stuff involving sports.
Talk about some second half baseball. Have some analysts come on and do some predictions for the college football season or the NFL. Give some updates on the Olympics teams. Something. Anything but having 3 of your 4 networks running their mouths on about a story that has nothing to do with sports anymore for the next 24 hours.

It's not a sports scandal anymore. Seriously you people trying to relate this to the sports world are grasping for straws at this point. Sandusky was a FORMER coach. He was the main catalyst behind it. He was not a part of any program when this story broke. The PSU board/President covered it up. They don't work in the Athletic Department. They have nothing to do with the sports arena.
Paterno is dead. This story has no business being anything more than a passing blip on ESPN's radar. As bad as Sandusky's crimes were, they have nothing to do with Penn State's AD anymore. All those parties are dead or gone. This story doesn't belong on ESPN on 3 damn channels for an entire 24 hours period anymore.
Also, it's far from the biggest sports scandal ever because the scandal itself did not occur in relation to sports. The steroids scandal in baseball, SMU's death penalty, Armstrong potentially on roids, etc. those are sports scandals because they are directly related and involve the sports themselves. As bad as Sandusky's crimes were, he was a former coach. This has nothing to do with athletics anymore. Just another example of ESPN overcovering an event that they have no business giving more than passing coverage too.
