They aren't good at hitting, and its not going to change. We need the new guys to carry us at the plate, and all-world pitching, to win.

Yes and No. Obviously he spent more time then the Cape Cod coaches will or have.

THEY? Yea, batting .500 through most of the season playing in the SEC = Not a good hitter.

Didn't he throw a lot of props in an interview around the time he was still at the lofty levels to his LSU-E coach? Seems like the more time he spent with the staff here, the more he dropped.

Because they are not that talented. We won a lot of one run games this past year. We could have easily not hosted a regional if some of those games go the other way. A big reason we did so well was because of rhymes freak year.

If you watched the games completely unbiased, you could see that our guys look like boys out there not men. Stoney Brook, South Carolina and florida just to name a few look like men. We were scrapy and we did very good to make it as far as we did.

This is why "good pitching beats good hitting" is a cliche. A team can go very far with good pitching. LSU really needs to sure up the outfield defense, because pitching and defense is the winning formula going forward in the near term.

I wonder if he recruited all these good hitters?

Cape Cod/summer league coaches don't change college hitters!

Players are there to play with what they already know. College coaches would blackball a summer league if someone up there changed their players' style, approach, mechanics, etc.

You go play summer ball with whatever skills you got from your college coaches. If you can't hit in spring, you probably can't hit in summer. And especially if someone exposed your weaknesses during spring and talked to the summer pitchers.

The last 2 teams you listed we beat 2 out of 3 on the road. The other team you misspelled. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say you're fricking stupid.
