The Barkley loan is only a 1 month, but will be extended out until the end of the season during the emergency loan period.

Yea, saw that... fricking sucks... but this will be his last (and biggest) Prem contract. Can't blame him for wanting to leave now.
On the positive, heard a rumor that we may be in for David Goodwillie from Blackburn.

yea apparently one of the clubs in for him is from china. i hope he can secure a big money move to a good league if he does leave. would rather him stay and help try and get us up rather than join a wigan or southampton.
the new owners offered him something like 30k a week and that is a lot for our club.

Yea, he was already the highest earner by a mile, can't believe they offered him that high a wage rise... gonna be hard to find goals if he leave. McSwag has started to find the back of the net though... so hopefully his form keeps up.

stephen warnock loan could be completed tomorrow. also talk of becchio to norwich for cash AND steve morrison. would be a solid deal IMO FWIW NBA DIAF GFY but another player sold to norwich? these 'leeds are our feeder club' feeder club jokes will be the end of me.

Looking like a straight swap now... no cash. Steve Morison for Becchio. Becchio scored 46 in last 143 to Morison's 51 in 156.
Should be an adequate replacement, improves our pace up front, and probably improves the wage bill.
fricking Norwich... Bradley Johnson, Jonny Howson, Robert Snodgrass, Luciano Becchio.... thats the core of our league 1 promotion team.
