I spoke to a board member from LUST on Saturday while watching the match. He claims that it will happen shortly and that basically Bates has no choice in the matter. Financial concerns make it a certainty. He didn't elaborate but it sounded promising. MOT

apparently we looked very average according to those who saw the match. by the sound of it we just couldn't keep the ball and let them run at us.

knicked that early goal off a set piece and just couldn't hang on long enough. would have been thrilled with a point.

Blackpool looks to be the class of the Championship (at least on paper) and are simply too fast and too good for us at this point. We were outshot 20-5 and outpossessed by a large margin. Still a long way to go. MOT

Warnock built this team with the money Hull spent on 1 striker.

All these new faces still need time to gel and Blackpool will definitely be in the top 5 at the end of the season. They are talented and it showed today. This away fixture was always going to be a tough one.

Heard Byram's youth showed a lot today and Crainey had a field day against him, which led to the two goals.

I think we are a better team then we showed today and if this was last year, we'd have lost 5-0.

We need pace and flair, and I don't think we will be able to get it until the take over goes through, but we'll see what Warnock can do.

Hell Middlesborough paid through the nose for a talented team last year and look what happened. Its about getting the right players, not the most expensive, so we'll see what happens. A lot of games yet to be played.

MOT!

THE robbie rogers to stevenage on loan till the new year.

ramon nunez scored for teh reserves last night. wouldn't mind seeing him recalled. was sort of surprised to see pugh in the last match considering he is also transfer listed.

oh, and paul green out for 2 months. frick.

Warnock reinforced what I said... in an interview today he said that he will be unable to bring in any new players unless the take over goes through. Said if he loses Austin or Pearce he "won't know what to do".

21 man squad, 3 of which are transfer listed and the window closes in a week. Warnock stated that he still feels he needs 4 more top quality players to push for promotion and doesn't see this squad as it stands being more than mid table at the end of the season.

in other news: Diouf was handed a contract offer but hasn't signed yet.

warnock hates loans but we may have to go that route to get some help.

takeover really needs to happen in the worst way.

Good article about Bates and the possible takeover. It reflects the conversation I had with the LUST board member a few weeks ago. It's long but informative. Also, The Sun is reporting that Bates will be gone within the next 72 hours.

Love Robbo!!! Former Leeds players never forget their time playing for the Whites and always seem to appreciate our supporters even when they are playing for the opposition. MOT

im interested to see if we can bring in on loan any of the premier league players who aren't included in the 25 man squad lists.

Well, right now I see that as our only option if all of the reports coming out of Leeds are true. No money will be spent on any additional players so loan is our best/only option. This takeover mess needs to be sorted soon. I began this season with a cautiously optimistic attitude but am now becoming increasingly bitter and frustrated. MOT
