I love the Leeds salute. No other club has that. Just another thing that is unique to Leeds. Look at all these pathetic counts on this board who support the Scum, Shitty, the Dippers, or Arse. They have no idea what they are missing. MOT....LUSC!!!!
ETA...I intended "pathetic counts" in the most complimentary way.

update on some of our youngsters
quote:
Former skipper Richard Naylor has been casting his eye over our under-18 side during a busy pre-season campaign for the youngsters.
Richard's first game in charge saw a 3-0 victory against Shrewsbury with Luke Booker, Eoghan Stokes, and Lewis Cook all scoring in the second half of the game.
That was followed by a 1-0 defeat at York City, against a much more experienced line-up, before a 4-4 draw against Norwegian outfit Sandefjord last midweek.
Sanchez Payne was at the double with further goals coming from Booker and Tom Lyman against the Norwegian under-19 side.
And, on Saturday, with the second year scholars being called into Development Squad action at TNS, Richard took a young team to Liverpool.
The Premier League youngsters won the game 2-0 thanks to two early goals, but the youngsters showed real grit and determination in the second half.
United (v Shrewsbury) Grimes (Atkinson 45), Roper (Purver 45), Harrison (Beaman 45), Skelton (Affi 45), Tiesse, Dawson (Cook45), Mowatt (Philips 45), Coyle (Amiri 45), Parkin, Walters (Stokes 45), Booker.
United (v York): Grimes (Atkinson 45), Purver (Trialist45), Beaman (Trialist 45), Skelton (Bennett 45), Tiesse, Philips (Trialist), Roper, Coyle (Lyman 45), Booker, Amiri (Cook 45), Stokes
United (v Sandefjord): Atkinson, Roper, Marshall, Gimpel, Mowatt, Payne, Dobbs, Snodin, Lyman, Trialist, Booker. Subs: Dawson, Parkin , Amiri, Walters.
United (v Liverpool): Grimes, Purver, Beaman, Marshall, Tiesse, Amiri, Philips, Coyle, Lyman, Stokes, Booker. Subs: Atkinson, Roper, Morton, Chydrick, Emilio.
also this team played and lost 3-1 to welsh champions TNS yesterday.
United: Rachubka (Cairns 45), Connolly, Killock, Gimpel, Taylor, Dodds (Parkin 60), Snodin, Payne (Cook 46), Lenighan, Clamp (Dawson 75), Jackson (Walters 60).

We need creativity and pace... without which we may look like Stoke lite... but I'll take it

Sam Byram signs a new 3 year deal
El Hadji Diouf will be playing in place of Green @ Blackpool and is sitting down today with the club to talk contract.
Green needs an MRI on his knee and will not be available for Blackpool fixture.
Warnock still wants to add a couple players but has to figure out where the money will come from.
