Who was the better prospect coming from high school? College?
And who do you see being the better NBA player?

Kyrie has really impressed me and I think he will be the better player no doubt.

I would guess Wall was the better prospect coming out of HS and college but don't know that for sure

I still have tons of hope for Wall but you are probably right, Irving will pass him on the NBA Superstar list at some point

Coming out of HS - Wall
Coming out of College - Wall

NBA Prospect - Irving

Wall has been lazy since entering the league, and Irving had a great year and showed he can play at a high leve.

wall was a better prospect coming out of both HS and college.

wall gets the nod in elite level athleticism. Irving gets the nod with a more consistent jumpshot and the intangibles, which is what i value more in a PG

irving will be the better pro, IMO

If Wall can develop a decent shot and control the wrecklessness he is going to be unstoppable. Irving's shot is all I would really take over Wall.

If Irving played his whole season he would have beem viewed as the better prospect. He was the best player in the country as soon as he played his first game.

Now it's obviously a no-brainer.

Wall was viewed better coming out of HS and college.

If Irving played the entire year, maybe he would have been viewed better.

He had a better year last year.

If Wall stops being lazy, he CAN be better. Its up to him. Wall has more potential imo. Better athlete, better passer. But his jump shot and lack of urgency concerns.

I knew Washington was the worst place for him to go to. He needed to go to a team with veteran leadership.

Absolutely.

But I really enjoy watching both of these guys play. They were each hands down the best point guard in their respective classes, even if Dave Telep and Jerry Meyer didn't Kyrie's obvious talent for quite a while.

Irving's development from junior in HS to now is crazy. Top 30ish recruit to potential MVP in the future.

We never really saw his greatness in college...at least I didn't...he showed flashes, but Wall was a friggin baller.

I look for Irving to have a better career though. Wall will be like Iverson.

Not for every service, but 2007 is also the greatest recruiting class of all-time, in my opinion.

Eric Gordon, Derrick Rose, Michael Beasley, Kevin Love, Kyle Singler, OJ Mayo, pre-ACL injury Bill Walker, James Harden, Patrick Patterson, Chandler Parsons, Jared Bayless, DeAndre Jordan, Blake Griffin (barely a 5-star), Nolan Smith, and Evan Turner (barely top 50) were all in that class.

Beasley was rated 1 by a lot of guys.

If Wall is like Iverson he will be a top 3 player in the game and will multiple MVPs. A 6'4 Iverson scoring 26 ppg?

Iverson is a terrible comparison.

i think those are the intangibles that kyrie has over wall that will lead to the significantly better NBA career.

um no Wall has improved already, yes he turns it over and is a bit wreckless but Irving is not leaps and bounds better. He is a better shooter

Irving is a better shooter/scorer and looks more composed

Wall is more explosive and a better passer. Wall gets a jump shot then its lights out. He is already cutting down on the turn overs
