the go-to wise narrator guy?

I love Leiv Schreiber on the HBO Sports docs, but I don't think he has the heft.

Kevin Spacey is not bad on the history channel shows.

Also, I watched a BBC documentary where Idrs Elba narrated.

Awesome.

What about Jeff Bridges? Maybe not the best diction, but definitely has a unique voice.

But seriously, I'd say the guy that plays Horatio on CSI Miami would be good. Dude knows how to build up the suspense with those pauses

What a great actor this guy is.

He is the king of the wise old man role. He played God of all people for that role.

I'm sure it's been said but I would say Mike Rowe.

Gilbert Gottfried's commentary greatly enhances any situation imo

Only in America can someone reading words written by others be considered wise simply by the sound of his voice.

Morgan Freeman has been played out too much, IMO.

He's not as impactful as before. What I'm saying is he doesn't have to die to go out of style.

The guy who does all the narration for Frontline. In fact, I want to pay that man to narrate even the most mundane things I do in life.
