I know a lot of people on here keep seeing the Gatorade commercial showing this game and wanting a special, so just wanted to put this out there that NBATV is showing a 2 hour special tonight 9 PM ET.

Should be interesting

I saw that on my guide yesterday. Is it a documentary or just a replay of the game?

A freaking doc would be awesome.

I would love an espn film on that run of championships the bulls had.

This.

And when is that Dream Team Documentary? Is it coming on ESPN or just NBA TV?

NBATV this Wednesday. ESPN had something short on it yesterday during Sportscenter, and it has me really pumped about this doc.

Is it or me or would this game feel less special, if the game was on ABC/ESPN? Go back and watch your favorite games from the 90s, and imagine Mike Brey and Jeff Van Gundy calling the game.

The NBA on NBC theme song alone made games better in the 90's!

All hail John Tesh

I am not comparing them as players but as far as individual games go. Lebron's 07 game 6 vs the Pistons and game 4 against the Pacers are better than any MJ playoff game

First lebron is my fav player in the nba, i really enjoy watching him play. His skill set is amazing to watch.. But how old are you? Michael jordan is the best to ever play, to say lebrons games are better than mjs? Come on man, mj hit the biggest shots at the biggest time. Game winners in finals, game winners in multiple playoffs, when a shot was needed everyone watching knew where the ball was going and knew there was nothing the other team could do to stop it from happening.

How many MJ playoff games did you watch?

Just a few highlights I can think of for MJ:

- 63 point playoff game
- 35 point HALF in the Finals
- Something like 40/12/9 in the FInals
- 55 point game against the Finals

And I'm pretty sure he's had multiple other games in the 38/12/8 range in the playoffs and/or Finals.

His playoff accomplishments aside from actually winning 6 titles is completely unparalleled.

Jordan's six first-half 3-pointers in Game 1 of the 1992 NBA Finals set an NBA record.
But Jordan, who had already scored 18 points in the first quarter, keyed a 57-23 run over the next 18 minutes with one of the most dazzling individual performances in Finals history. He buried the Blazers with a barrage of 3-pointers, a record six in the first half, as the Bulls pulled away. Jordan finished the half with 35 points to set a Finals record and give the Bulls a 66-51 lead at intermission. The rout was on -- Chicago led 104-68 after three periods and the 122-89 final was just two points shy of matching the most lopsided Finals game ever.

I want some of what you are smoking. Also I am not trying to say that the perfomances you mentioned weren't great. But to say that they are better than any playoff game.

Yea, I vividly remember watching that game, it was crazy.

Lebron definitely deserves his props. He's had multiple playoff games and even entire playoff series that were absolutely legendary, some of the best stuff we've seen from an individual. And even better stuff we've seen in the modern era, better than anyone ever...except for MJ(and I'd even throw in some of Shaq's Finals performances).

Yep like i said, i will be the first to stan up for bron. Very fun to watch and amazing athlete. But cant compare him to mj, everyone is always lookn for the next mj, that will never happen. Mj was something special we will never see again. Kobe, lebron, durant, are all great athletes in their own way. None will be jordan, they will make their own legacies and there is nothing wrong with that.
