May be a redundant question, but are teams re-seeded in Omaha? Or do we know that #7 LSU will meet #2 UCLA if both win out?

When is the specific CWS schedule released (game times for each team)?

Thanks in advance, trying to pre-plan for an Omaha trip!

1 upset could mess up your plans if you go by the seedings this far in advance.

No reseeding. If Top 8 seed gets knocked out the team that won assumes that seed. So yes if LSU and UCLA advance they will meet in the first game.

What day they play depends on when that side of the bracket starts the super regional.

The supers that start on Friday play on Friday in Omaha, supers that start on Sat play on Sat in Omaha.

So for planning purposes wait until tomorrow morning to make plans. That is when the super times are announced.

Also, rain delays happen. Last time I went the second game was delayed until the next day. We had to miss it.

Seeds only matter in regionals and supers.

The eight teams that make the CWS could be interchangeable 1-8.

No reseeding at all, LA Regional will vs. BTR regional no matter what in Round one. if LSU and St. John's were to win out, LSU would play St John's in 2nd round of CWS.

I wouldn't put it like that, since one or two teams seem to sneak in every year...with very little chance of coming out on top.

The real question is whether "super fan" will cheer for UCLA or LSU?

So what you all are saying is that there are no "seeds" in the CWS but predetermined brackets based on matchups coming out of the Super Regionals.

No way a lousy team raises their seed over a quality opponent by getting lucky at the end of the season/playoffs...
