No details, just an alert.

The first Bee Gees song I remember:

"The New York Mining Disaster of 1941"

R.I.P., Robin.

Say what you will, but Stayin Alive is a great frickin' song. Most musicians would kill to write a song that good.

Disco gets a bad rap. Sure, there's tons of bad disco, but the best disco is just as great as any other pop music. The Bee Gees (and Donna Summer) are proof of this.

Not to mention but I've seen they did some serious work during the 80s writing music for other pop artists so I find that to be pretty impressive.

How did I miss this? Just found out on American Idol that he passed.

Robin, it would be impossible to overstate how much I loved the Bee Gees.
